Friends Village in Historic Woodstown, Salem County NJ Friends Village at Woodstown - A Senior Living Community

Services & Amenities

The John Fenwick Commons Building is the central hub of activity for Friends Village at Woodstown. Residents attend programs in the spacious auditorium, dine in the main dining room, and enjoy a variety of regular weekly events in the adjoining facilities. The fitness center, billiard room and wood shop are all part of this central complex.

Our Resident Services staff members plan events and activities with your interests in mind. There are regular exercise classes, card-playing groups, wellness programs, book discussions, and trips to local cultural events as well as day trips to regional attractions. Special guest speakers come in twice a month for the popular Philosophical Society.

Friends Village also welcomes community organizations to its campus. The county Art League and Genealogical Society meet here monthly, and Woodstown’s Rotary Club holds its luncheon meetings weekly.  Special programs from the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Alzheimer’s Association and Salem County Office on Aging are held frequently on campus.

The delicious cuisine at Friends Village is provided by Morrison Senior Living. Meals are prepared with fresh ingredients and are not only delicious, but meet nutritional guidelines as well. If it’s not on the menu, just ask. The chef can prepare a dish to your satisfaction. Themed dinners and special diets are just part of the outstanding service.

Morrison Senior Living, a member of the Compass Group, is the nation’s only food service company exclusively dedicated to providing food, nutrition and dining services to senior living communities.
