The entire staff at Friends Village is dedicated to making the lives of our residents as great as possible.  All staff are trained both within their area of expertise, as well as all areas of our campus. The goal is to be able to provide the best care possible.

CEO

Dan took the reins as Friends Village’s CEO in 2015. He has been part of the organizations growth since 2003 as the Chief Financial Officer. While at Friends Village he has been responsible for leading and managing organizational efforts aimed at fostering an active and engaged continuing care retirement community, while supporting the Boards efforts in planning and developing the future at Friends Village. Dan has been active in the aging services field for the past thirty years, first working for a CPA/Consulting firm that specialized in health care development, finance and operational consulting services for providers throughout the United States. Dan holds a master’s degree in Health Care Administration and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting, from The University of Scranton, Scranton PA.

Hank Kussay

CFO

Hank, Chief Financial Officer, leads the finance function for Friends Village. Before joining Friends Village in 2017, Hank was the CFO of a senior living multi-site organization located in Pennsylvania, and held Controllership roles at similar organizations.  A graduate of Philadelphia University, Hank holds a bachelor’s of science degree in accounting and is a certified public accountant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  Hank enjoys traveling with his wife Gail, spending time at the shore, as well as working out in the yard.

Mary Kopec

Director of Nursing

Mary joined Friends Village in 2004. She has been in her current role as Director of Nursing since April of 2015. She is a Graduate of Woodstown High School; RN Diploma/ADN from Our Lady of Lourdes School of Nursing 1984; BSN from Widener University 1999. Married with 5 children and 2 grand-children, Mary is a member of the Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit, piano accompanist with the music ministry. In her free time, Mary enjoys theater and music, reading, sitting on her back porch and spending time with her family.


Tara Woodside

Director of Assisted Living

Tara has been at Friends Village since July 2015. A 2008 graduate of The Citadel with BA Degrees in psychology and German. Tara also graduated from the University of Delaware in 2008 with a BS in Nursing. When not working at Friends Village, Tara enjoys reading, traveling, baking and photography. An active member of the Quinton Baptist Church, Tara also enjoys attending the Philadelphia Orchestra and Philly Pops at the Kimmel Center.

Pat Myers

Director of Support Services

Pat has been with Friends Village since May of 2006. A graduate of Salem High School, Pat found his way to the United States Navy, where he worked on his electrician skills. He is a Master Electrician in the State of Delaware and a certified electrical contractor in the State of New Jersey. Pat is married to his wife Nancy for 39 years and together have one daughter. When Pat isn’t working, he enjoys sporting events, working on cars and spending time with his grandson. Pat is also a member of the Quinton Fire Company for the past 32 years.

Director of Fine Dining

It seems Dennis was born into the food industry. He started his culinary journey in his early teens as a dishwasher at the famous Cock and Bull restaurant in New Hope Pennsylvania.  He became the youngest sauté cook at the restaurant at the age of 16 and never looked back.  His 35 year culinary career has spanned many food industries, having worked as a Chef in Fine Dining Restaurants like The Lambertville Station and Dover Downs Casino. Dennis has held Corporate Chef Responsibilities for Tyson Foods & Campbell Soups. He has spent the last decade working with seniors in various culinary capacities for Flik Lifestyles. Dennis is a father of 3 teen aged children, Bijou, Alex & Vinny and has a passion for music, and play Drums and Guitar.


Gary Morris

Gary Morris

Director of Marketing & Mission Support

Gary started his career at Friends Village in October of 2015. He brings over 20 years of marketing experience to the community. Gary earned his BS in Marketing from Rider University. Married with two children, he resides in Logan Township. When not working at Friends Village, you will find him out running or riding his bike and trying to keep up with his kids.
